Our Mission

Healthcare Hands Across Jamaica was birthed from the urgent need to respond to the devastating impact of recent hurricanes and the overwhelming strain placed on Jamaica’s healthcare system. As medical facilities struggled, supplies dwindled, and communities faced unprecedented hardship, it became clear that a coordinated response was not just necessary—but critical.

What began as a call to action has evolved into a powerful initiative that mobilizes nurses, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to bring medical relief, essential supplies, and compassionate care to those most affected. Healthcare Hands Across Jamaica exists to stand in the gap—restoring hope, rebuilding communities, and reinforcing healthcare where it is needed most.

Mobilizing Hands, Healing Hearts, Transforming Communities.

Our Vision

A Jamaica where every person—regardless of circumstances—has access to high-quality healthcare, safety, and hope.

Our Approach

We mobilize volunteer nurses and medical teams, deliver life-saving supplies, support local healthcare workers, and design long-term programs that strengthen resilience.

We proudly collaborate with:

  • Jamaican Ministry of Health

Why We Exist

After Jamaica experienced extensive hurricane devastation, thousands were left without access to care, clean water, housing, and medical support. We believe that healthcare is a form of ministry, and where there is suffering, compassion must rise.
